I'm Saqib, a software engineer based in Berlin. I build complex systems at scale, but before any of that, writer was the first thing I wanted to be. Then a cricketer for years. Then, for a while, I pushed myself hard trying to become a professional wrestler. Programming came later and stuck.
The writing never actually left. I journal daily, I'm working on a novel, and most of what ends up on this blog started as a note to myself I decided was worth keeping.
I write about the parts of the past that keep steering the present without asking permission and the small unexamined beliefs that quietly run my life. Some of it is about code. Some poetry and fiction. And random stuff I thought was worth sharing.
